What Happened?

The directions say "For best results, remove activated carbon or filter cartridge from filter and continue aeration." etc etc.
It doesn't mention anything about bacteria so hopefully it won't affect it any.

Anchor worms and fluke meds can be very strong and can wipe the beneifical bacteria out in your filter.
I would keep an eye on your stats.
It usually tells you in the instructions if the meds will knock your bacteria in the filter.

It doesn't say it will, but I checked ammonia and there is a reading... UGH.
Should I keep using it or just do a water change and try something else.
I dunno what the heck I'm gonna do to try to keep the tank from having a mini-cycle or having to go through a full blown cycle again.

EDIT:
Alright... I think I paniced earlier b/c I tested the ammonia again and it was reading 0.....
The walls in the living room are green and it's not well lit, so my tired brain combined with that could've seen the reading as slightly green earlier.

How are the fish any signs of improvement.
