Sort of good news

Went to my local fish shop for the first ever visit.

The assistant did a water test for me with no charge.

0 on the Ammonia but the ph was green.

No fish but I did buy a few ornaments and a plant ( Anubias Barteri).

The ornaments were a log tfor swimming through and a christmas tree.

A few questions I had were also answered too.

The store? Jaws Aquatics near Bedford in England.

Unless there is a source of ammonia it will remain 0; but that does not mean the tank is cycled if it has nothing in it producing ammonia.

The Neite snails are doing well.

I'm sure the plant bug will get you soon . It certainly got me when I set up my first tropical tank.
