What Fish ?

Deffinate malawi cichlid, should only be kept with other malawi's and a very select few catfish.
 
hmm well the fella in the shop did say they should only be kept with there own kind from the same lake but could try to see how they get on in a tank with others and if no joy bring it back and change it for some thing else.

The guy at the shop was right.

It is a mildly aggressive - extremely hostile fish and will beat anything else up.
 
well all seems ok so far and its only a young 1 with 2 females so if its with other fish early on it might not be so bad

Well actually depending on the catfish you'll be alright.

You could fully well end up with a nice mbuna tank. You might want to check out the old world cichlid forums.
 
cool i will do that thank for your help guys i will try to get a pic of the cats when i can but they are away in there rock at the mo
