What fish can't you keep?

Gouramis, the longest I've had one is 6 months. I don't know why . Also I can't keep anything that gets very big as the largest tanks I have a 40g.

I had a betta once, Ollie, and he died 2 das after putting him into a brand new $150 all-in-one tank.....so I guess I can say 100% of my bettas die (but I only had one so.....hmmmmm)....

I don't have a lot of luck with small tetra like fish....I lost 4/6 glolight tetras and 2/6 neons and the other 4 neons always seem sickly looking. One of them has a tumour on its eye but is otherwise acting normally.

I can't keep guppies alive
I don't know why but they always die on me

So far, guppies. I think they know someday they might end up on the other fishes menu so they die to spite me. Technically this is my first tropical tank, so I dunno. All the coldwater fish I ever got were cool, my pictus is cool, my bettas were the bomb, the cories hide until I think they are dead... wait, I've had two of those die before too. That's it, no more peaceful fish!!!! They all die!!!
