What Does This Mean

Hello I just got a GH and KH water test kit and tested my tap water and here are the results

It took 10 drops of the GH solution to change the colour. Giving a result of 179

It took 6 drops of the KH solution to change the colour. Giving a result of 107.4

So would my water be considered hard or soft (ph7.8)?

I'd say your water was medium, so not hard, nor soft.
pH has nothing to do with determining the water hardness.
