What Do I Do?!?! First Sand Tank!

my new tank has sand substrate and is super cloudy. how long before it isnt?

Could take a few hours to a few days to settle.

My tank settled over night, but it depends how many times you clean it and stuff. But even when it's fully clean you get the lightest bits of sand floating around for a few hours.

If you wash the sand out before putting it in the tank, you can massively held avoid the whole cloudiness issue. However since it is already in the tank, i recommend putting a fine white wool filter sponge (like these: http/eshop.aquashoppe.in/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=4_16&products_id=41 ) into the filter as these will held sift out all the fine particles out of the water . Regardless though it will settle eventually v .

i did wash the sand., but apparently not as well as i had haoped for! but things are definitely a lot better now.
