I sold 10 males triple orange Apistogramma cacatuoides, ten mixed sex dwarf red coral platy and three pairs of yellow tiger endlers to my local fish store. Next up. I have around 30 neolamprologous multifasciatus to sell or give away.

It’s time to breed Candyman. He has come of age.

I just let about 200 4th-5th graders in a Haka to honor their parents and teachers. Not something I get to do every day.
Quite an entertaining scene to picture just glad they didn’t do it as honour for warriors preparing for battle

So the original star wars is on the tele; of course now a days it seem quite silly but when i was a little kid and it first came out our father took us to this old style theater that only had one giant screen and we walked in as the fighters were attacking Princess's ship and it was the most spectacle thing for a little wee wee boy to see.

I actually have all the original Trek TOS episodes on one of my media drives.

My mom actually left me with my uncle while she went to the very first Star Trek Convention. Actually I don't know that convention is the best word as it was at the start of the series, not like the later 'cult' conventions. I know that my mom's 'trek' had to be early as it was before my signature was put on a VERY wide spread petition that got Star Trek TOS a third season when I was in Jr. High.

i made a tiny poo poo boo boo which i have no corrected after all star trek has no princess ship being attacked by the empire ;)

I once gave a fish talk at a convention down in the States. There was a Star Trek convention in the same place, and the elevators were spectacular. People in Starfleet uniforms beside people with little fish in bags. Each group thought the others were the weirdos.

This morning I went over to the fishroom with no jacket, just a t-shirt. This evening the window sliced right through my warmest coat, and the dog and I didn't stop to admire the new snow. It feels like the gods did a cold water change here. Maybe I'm really a cory.

LOL! I'm surprised that I didn't catch the mistake. :) Both were good but, if I could only ever see one, it would be Trek.

Not going to go through the searching but I remember several years ago reading that cell phones were basically developed by some people that were fascinated with the concept of the Star Trek Communicator. While without the range a cell phone is in the ball park of Star Trek.

If that were true, Captain Kirk would have endlessly fallen for 'lonely Ukrainian beauties" scams.

I think phone tech corporations have built in phasers set on stun and that explains some of the stuff people type into their phones.

Some do claim that the cell phone does zaps your brain.... so there might be some truth to that.

On Saturday mornings I perform a 25% water exchange on my 60 and 29 gallon tanks. Since I run the tap water through a nitrate filter the maximum flow rate through the python is 1 gallon every four minutes. It is a slow business refilling these tanks.

@gwand I know I would eventually get distracted and walk away if I refilled at that speed, and those beautiful floors would suffer. It wouldn't be the spilled water that would cause trouble, it would be the blood when my wife was finished with me.
