What animals are more intelligent than dogs and primates?

When it comes to sleep many prey animals can do something humans cannot do. One half hemisphere of the brain sleeps while the other hemisphere stays alert. Then the hemispheres take turns sleeping. The survival advantage is apparent for this behavior.

Birds and whales/ dolphins do that. Birds do it so they don't fall off the perch. Whales and dolphins do it so they don't drown (keep breathing).
