Welcome New Household Pets Leader, Ludwig Venter!

I would like to congratulate Ludwig Venter on his appointment to Section Leader of the Household Pets section, as well as Pet Of The Month Leader.

Ludwig has in the past started and ran his local SPCA branch for 12 years, and has more years dealing with animals than I can count. He has proven in the past time & time again to be knowledgeable with animals far beyond tropical fish.

Thanks Tolak, and frankly, if I could choose a section to be a part of, this would be it. I’ve been through many of the topics & posts in this section and it is clear that this is probably the most “Labrador” (I mean loyal) section we have on TFF….

There is some good stuff on here and you guys are having so much (more) fun that it is (almost a crime) and pointless to even consider changes (unless you guys specifically ask for it – suggestions are welcome)….

A main feature of the pets’ section is of course the POTM, which sadly fell behind a little & leaves us with a bit of catching up to do.

Inchworm has started topics where you can post your nominations for September and October 2009, and I prompt you to get your nominations in without delay, as selected from the specific months that the photos were posted by the OP. The rate at which those nominations come in will determine how soon we can start voting and eliminate the backlog and get back on track.
