Water Test Kit

A good few of us use API liquid test kits. They are my favourite, and go for liquid tests, rather than strips.

I like the API kit with four or five tests using vials. Not happy with Salifert ammonia kit. I find it really had to match the colors to the test container. Just my opinion.

For testing nitrate, I much prefer the Salifert nitrate test for its accuracy and ease of use. I use API for other tests.

I've only ever used API. I rate all the API ones for ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, pH, high pH, KH and GH. I would prefer the nitrate one was a little clearer on readings over 20ppm though.
