Im putting this in a new thread because I think its and entirely different problem from my shrimp food. My tap water has a hardness of about 60-120ppm according to my test strips (this is after de chlorinating) is this too high for my shrimplets? I keep bettas as well and they seem fine but i hear it may be too high. If its too high, how should I decrease it? The shrimplets are ghost shrimp btw. They are going into a 2.5 gallon until they are big enough for my 55.

If the adults are breeding and the young surviving, then leave the water as it is
I got the shrimp from petco and she was already pregnant. Not my water 😅 although my snails seem to love this water, i find assassin eggs all the time.
