You can dose 5x the amount being safe, but if you overdose there can be ill affects. As the water evaporates, only the water is leaving, not the "chemicals" (for a lack of a better word). As you replace the water with the full tank amount, eventually it can decrease the amount of oxygen in the water. Now, it would take alot to do this, but it can happen. Escepicially if you have to do lots of water changes. Now, another thing is Prime is only active for 24 hours. You can really only overdose if you are doing daily water changes.
So, what I said is debated, me having the "Overdosing can have ill effects" side.
