Water Changes

Can anybody please confirm how often we should be changing water i have been told onr third every month is this correct

yep weekly for me 25%

I do 50/60% weekly on all mine.
 
I figure, once you've got all the stuff out, you might as well do a big one as a small one!

It depends on a number of things, ie; what fish and how many do you have? what size tank do you have? do you have live plants? and if so do you dose any ferts and Co2?
