@adeaidyady That's a beautiful looking shark you have there. Is he "peaceful?"

@Tom I think a youtube channel would serve you well. Great river-esq vide you've got running through your tank.

@DevotedToDiscus WOWZERS lol Though I do have a question for you. Which is, I noticed there wasn't a lot of flow in your tank but the plants were looking lush. Did you turn of the filter etc before shooting the vid?

@ianho great scapes you've got there. I'm always slightly envious of people who grow hc successfully!

Some great stuff in here, we should definitely keep this thread rolling :good:

Yeah pretty peaceful most of the time........ Sometimes gets aggressive to the Pleco at feeding times.....

Nobody laugh-here is mine. It is not half as nice as a lot of tanks I have been admiring on here but hey-got to start somewhere right?

That is lovely :good: so peaceful and calm. I love lots of greenery. I wouldn't be that brave to put it in my tank though - I already get para the fish will get stuck in the plants I have

Tom I felt real peacful watching that vid. A couple of questions if I may...

What is that species of fish and secondly, with such dense planting how do you stop food from falling in between the plants.

The fish are sparkling gouramis (Trichopsis pumila). At the moment they're only small so I'm not really feeding them much, they're happily living off the ostracods and other microfauna in the tank. Any food I do put in that they miss is normally cleaned up by the shrimp.

Light stocking, light feeding, the inverts and plants use up any waste.

Here's a short video of my tank..
