Ahh, yea.Either way I still class them as a cichlid since they're bred from the same family.

love your tank especially the pearsei and oscar just so beautiful and cool catfish what bruts, the parrots do add colour to the tank but have to confess to not likeing orange parrots, to me always look people have shoved a couple of overgrown goldfish in there tanks ( so sorry just my thoughts, you know i love your fish cheesy )

I think the white parrot is the best fish there, looks great,an yes i know about them, and don't condone it, but there's no arguing thats a fine looking fish. A very nice looking group all round.

Neither do I support the hybridization of fish but they aren't doing any harm, especially since they're 99% infertile.
You gotta love the orange and white parrot, he's the daddy of them all They all have great characters too.

Cheesy, you may want to dose the tank with some Metronidazole to help with the HITH. Remember to feed some good nutritious foods also!

I am sorry but I had to laugh at this comment... CFC was merely poking fun at Cheesy, it seemed like a pretty innocent comment to me. No need to blow anything out of proportion.

His HITH stopped after a month I had him, I changed the water every other day and beefed him up.Tough fella.
