...Negative comments or stabs at parrot cichlids welcome too. :p

Haha Quite funny a Inbred keeping Hybrids.

Nice Catfish though, Hate Oscars but the parrots are quite sexy :D

They can't eat, breath properly and are dyed :(.They also float on their backs.
Ty for bothering to comment lol

Not a fan of parrots, but can see for character-full and colourful fish they are attractive to people :p.

Your catfish are certainly healthy looking :D. My syno used to look like that too till I put him on a diet lol.

Nice pics.

Just one question...is your oscars head OK? Sorry if it is...just from that angle it looks a bit holey :).

His oscar is blind, good thing aswell as who would want to see his ugly mug every day

Yeah he's pretty messed up.When I rescued him he had HITH and god knows what else. He's blind in his other eye, and his other side of his face is like a skeleton, nevertheless he stills eats and acts fine. He's also stunted, has not grown in a year and at max he's 9"
Ace you look like the little mutant out of Hills have eyes

aww bless him.. i was going to have a right dig at you for the mess at him, but that shut me up!
maybe you should pop in for a cuppa and bring him with you ;) ;)

what conditions was he kept in for him to get like that? must have been really really bad,how could anyone inflct that onto such a beautiful fish.

dont forget the offer of a cuppa stands anytime

Good on you for taking him on :good:. It's always nice when an abused animal gets a good home.

Hehe...Nope, he's mine :p
Well I went to pick up a 150gal tank from this guy, in truth it was 75gals, he had 6 oscars in there and loads of other fish but when I came he still hadn't managed to sell his remaining fish;2 sail fin plecs and an albino, the oscar and the two feather fin synos...Seeing how bad they were and the dirty water I asked him a few questions and he said "do you know why the catfish sometimes swim upside down"..."because they're an upsidedown catfish arn't they?"..."that explains a lot".
Yeah so he was an idiot lol, but he let me take all the fish unfortunatly the 14" sailfin and all other plecs had sunken bellies, and my chinese algae found weakness in the larger one sucking his eyes and belly out overnight
None of the fish grew at all the first few months I had them, but I havn't lost anything except the big sailfin...You can see the sailfin next to the smaller raphael. The albino hasn't grown at all either, and that had a sunken belly for months.
