Hi I'm new at this, so if I don't include something I'm supposed to, please tell me and I'll try my best...

My female guppy is currently alternating between floating upside down and at a 45 degree angle, stomach up. She has raised scales that also seem sort of white, and red spots where her scales are raised. Her stomach also looks large. Her caudal fin also seems a bit torn up.
Before I removed her from the tank (because of her scales), we had 3 female guppies and 2 males in a 5 gallon tank, uncycled (I was 3 weeks into cycling when my mom took the ammonia reading, saw it was 0, got impatient, and bought fish), with 0 ammonia, nitrate, and nitrite and a ph of 8.2. The readings have stayed the same, and I take them every 3 days and also change 10-20% of the water after taking the readings.
I'm really concerned about the tank, because we've lost quite a few fish in the last two weeks. The current females aren't the first batch, we bought 4 when we bought the males, but they have all died. The first one was pretty pregnant (after googling it, I'm guessing around 3 weeks), and was found at the bottom of the tank after school, with a hole in its stomach and the babies gone (though it may have been the shrimp), and its caudal fin pretty much gone. The second one died in the small tank after I took it out due to raised scales, and she was quite lethargic, and then her caudal fin started looking torn up, and she died the day after I took her out. The third one died in the small tank also, and also had raised scales. The fourth one died Monday, and she was lethargic before and also had a torn up caudal fin. We had bought the current three two days before the one that died on Monday died after the lady at Petsmart convinced us that the first three died because of stress from shipping. However, I don't think she was right, since this currently really sick one has the same symptoms, and I just spotted another female guppy in the tank with a small patch of raised scales.
Help about what they have and how to fix it would be really helpful... I have no idea what to do, and all my mom wants is to buy more fish :(

Thank you so much....

to TFF! So sorry to hear that you're having troubles.

Can you get a picture of the affected guppy? To upload a picture you can go to more reply options and attach files at the bottom. Or you can upload to a photo sharing website such as photobucket and link here.

I'm not 100% sure as I'm not the best with stocking numbers, but think your tank was/is overstocked. It being uncycled is really not helping :/

What test kit are you using?
