Upgrading Tanks

I currently have 3 tanks; 2 tropical and 1 coldwater. I have just bought a new, larger tank and want to upgrade my fishes onwards and upwards. Having trolled the wonderful World Wide Web for the last several hrs for tips on doing this (and finding yahoo have nothing of interest), I'm hoping that someone - please! - can help on here.
This is what I am planning:
Tropical to new tank
Cold water to vacated tropical tank
Tropical to vacated cold water tank

I am staring up the new tank (tropical) this weekend with water, then plants. Any advice on what to do after this would be greatly appreciated!

What size tank will you get? What fish do you have now? Are you looking to stock the old tank? What kind of fish do you like?

Moving into the new tank are 5 Neons, 5 Green Fire Tetra and 2 Black Mollies. Once they are settled I am going to get a few more Neons and Green Fire, some Corydoras and shrimp, probably Cherry's as I have zero luck with Glass Shrimp, to my dismay. (Obviously this won't be done all at once!)

Moving into their empty tank are 2 goldfish who are having a race to see who can get the biggest the quickest. The next stop for them will be the pond, most probably.

And finally, moving into their old tank will be my 2 lady Black Mollies and their 2 fry. I quite like the idea of a 'ladies only' tank, with Guppies and Siamese Fighting Fish, but this is only an idea at the moment and I haven't really done any research on the compatibility of these fish.

I would love to get some Dwarf Gouramis in the future, but my priority are the fish I have now. Once they're all settled I'll start to plan my fourth tank in earnest!
