Update On Sliver Shark

30 gallon, i would only breed in this one, or could i breed in 90 as well, i think the sharks or other fish would eat eggs in 90...

ya in the 30 gallon get say 12 females and 4 males and you should see lots of babbies... also make sure you have some plants (live or fake) so the female can hide a bit during breeding, also so the eggs don't get eaten they'll get stuck the the plant leaves and the hatch, for the first couple of days they'll absorb their yolk sac and then when they become free swimming drop them in the 90 gallon also are you going to add a clown or ghost knife to the 90?

okay great, so 12 female and 4 male guppys, in 30 thanks and im still looking up on the clown and ghost, im not sure which one i like so far, but i'v only see 2 or 3 pages on them, il post back to you in less then 20 and have an answer

Damn guppies get more action that I do ya I've got a clown knife right now and I can tell you he's a baby, unless a fish small enough (such as my school of 5 neons that now gone) goes near his mouth

haha i have 3 neons in my 30 gallon tank, and before i had 3 sharks i had only gotten one ( caught up in the rush of the moment at the pet store wanting a new fish) i had not looked up this guy, i didnt even know there was such fish, i gotten 1 and my neons scared him the first two days, like if they swim to him to check him out he would dart away, but know that theres 3 of them they scare the neons off..

neons are quick fish, but also coward, I've noticed balas are cowardly too... but only for a short period of time I just found one of my fish dead :bye: ahh well I was selling him and his friends to a store anyways, only his friends now

I have no life except fish ... I've got 3 oscars, 5 pink convict cichlids, 3 blood parrots/convict cross breeds, a jack dempsy and a midas cichlid... Restarting my 55gallon tank and about me being all over the forums I like to help ppl what can I say?

im turning the same way, i'v had this tank for like...6 months i still i can sit and watch it for hours on end...i dont know, but fish tanks like pull me in and dont let me go

be the way do you have pic of your tanks? i would love to see them!!!

Hi, I guess neither of you were aware of this, but guppies don't lay eggs, they give livebirth. Also, make sure you feed you balas some other food too, becasue fish aren't the healthiest thing for them to eat, but as a treat it's okay, I'd say once a week. Also, ihasanzongi, because of you, I'm getting a big tank and putting balas in it. I've liked them for a while and never had a big enough tank, and now I thought, why don't I get one? lol. So thanks. Now I'm going to save up and get a huge tank and put it in the basement.

Oh, and your fish wouldn't mind having some plants in there tank, it's really expensive to properly plant a big tank though so keep that in mind.
