Unknown Fish

o would but that was over 7 months ago because when i went back to said store they had a sign up saying the whole fish department was closed due to a massive diesease out break so i cut my losses and now go to another store for aquatic stuff

slightly labourious but why not try looking through the speices index here: http/www.fishforums.net/index.php?showforum=36 and see if you can find out what that slver fish is. It looks like it could be in the characins or cyprinids species.

ive looked at more than 5 different fish indexs and cant find them thats why i created this topic

The striped one could be Rasbora borapetensis blackline rasbora
The one with yellow tail markings looks like a Rasbora trilineata scissortail rasbora
The one that's in the first picture top mid-left that's all blurred could be a Danio rerio leopard danio

Not so sure on the larger grey/silver one. But it looks like a danio, rasbora or minnow of sorts.

They look like Scissortail Rasboras (Rasbora trilineata). Look on a few website pages though as some have pictures that look like yours and some are a bit paler than yours, hope this helps,

must be my internet explorer keep mucking up thanks for the help on the fish identification anyways seems like ill never find out what that silver one is...

i was gonna ask advice about certain fish to add to the tank should i start a new topic or keep in this one ?

The big silver one kind of looks like a rainbowfish to me. Maybe this chap:

I disagree that your fish is a lacustris. The body shape looks quite different.

i see what you mean aww ###### the mouth is totally different and i just added two corys too the tank

heya more on the unknown fish front. once i took my plecp back to the store (grows to 3"max my ######)
and got some corys hes cheered up loads and his colour has come back

now we have unknown fish but with pike like mouth approx 2.5inch big

black strip from mid tail to mid belly

green sparkle to tail and fins

any ideas ?
