Hello,

I am new to this forum and have a very specific question: about 5 months ago, I bought a bunch of Corydoras Pygmaeus for my tank. They’ve all done quite well, but there is one fish in the school that has grown much bigger than the others, and quite frankly, just doesn’t look like a pygmy cory. I think it is fully grown by now, since it’s size hasn’t increased in about two months. I’ve attached a picture that I took during feeding today. Can anyone tell me what species this fish is?

Thanks in advance!

Habrosus don't grow bigger than pygmies and they have spots on the tail which the cory in the photo above doesn't have.

I'm sure I've seen a similar species on here recently but I just can't remember where..... :(

That’s what I thought at first, too. But it doesn’t quite look the same tbh.
It was the closest thing I could find to what you have. I know I’ve seen it before and it’s on the tip of my tongue. :/
