If you are going with the internal Fluvals, i'd go with a +3 and a +4 just to make sure, you can never have too much filtration.

I'd tend to agree with not putting a 70 gal upstairs, thats a lot of weight for 2nd floor floorboards, not worth the risk IMO.

Yes they are decent went yesterday (about the 3rd time I`ve been) the guy was a bit pushy to sell me something normally when I go the lady is reading a book and I can`t get her attention !
It`s a good shop especially as it specialises in African Cichlids and I`ll definately be checking it out from time to time.

the bigger the filters the better. you have a lot of rock there so you could possition the flow of the filters through the rocks to push out any crap.

aye we've been a few times and never had any problems. Not got any cichlids from there actually but other tropicals and catfish, v good for fancy plecs and catfish as well

Like I explained to you earlier, the water you have in your little tank wont be enought to fill your new tank, it will be like doing a 75% water change with only a small amount of established media. I think you may find that youhave to cycle your new tank, does anyone else have any ideas on this?

I wouldn't bother with it, it could have a faulty thermostat or not work at all, and buy the time you pay delivery you could have bought a new one with a warranty for only a few pounds more.
