lol yeah you could its not that for at all, well a new house is in the pipeline so it might not be that long before i do start one up not an oceanarium lol but a fish house and indoor pond :good:

By the way I meant to ask nelly.

Do they keep their colours as the grow older? I did some googling but don't think I saw many (if any) pics of fully grown fish. I saw some out of water but wasn't sure if it was the fact they were out of what that they'd gone a different colour.

To be honest I still thought it was a nice fish...I'd certainly make room for one in my house.
Just need to convince my boyfriend, so far he's still only just coming around the idea of a puppy...
Apparently 'All dogs are horrible', silly boy.

haha no they are very different when mature, not many pics as not many own them

I still think it looks cute. Perhaps I have issues....
I do like snakes though. And to be honest it's the perfect compromise. As this one can't escape, size me up and then try to eat me.
So it works for everyone. :good:

um err well channa are escape artists and can survive out of water sometimes for two or more days...so maybe when your sleeping, munch munch

Lol...are you proposing that my escape artist 4ft fish are going to eye me up as a potential meal...
Escape from their pond, flop up to the door, perhaps open it? Or maybe use the catflap...
Then flop their way specifically upstairs, into my bedroom, up under the covers...and begin munching without me noticing?

Hehe  TBH I'd pay to see that. Up until me being eaten alive of course.
