Fish Fanatic
Hi all.
Bought a couple of paradise fish last week, i asked the LFS for a male and female as i have read that two males can be aggressive. They said they would do their best as they are hard to tell apart (not sure if that was true). Bought them home and were fine, although spent alot of time at the top of the tank taking breaths from above surface of the water, i was guessing this was normal. Then 6 days later one of them was not moving very much and didnt go for food when i put it in, and then next day was dead
The other one was still fine until 3 days later the same thing happened, went off the food then next morning was dead
I bought 4 peppered corydoras at the same time and they are all fine, are paradise fish hard to keep (water quality, temperature?)
Put me off getting anymore of them for now...
