Just wondered if anyone has any experience with Tropical Fish By Post?

That's a really great offer. I doubt my tank will be cycled before then though, what a bummer. My LFS doesn't sell panda cories so I'm probably gonna have to order those online.

Not got any experience with the company, but the website looks well designed, so it seems they've invested time and money into it and aren't inexperienced fishkeepers looking to make a quick buck.

Cant find anything about them, but the site looks good, going to have a look around.

A quick dig however reveals no postal address on the site. The "About Us" page isnt working, so cant find a proper company name, so i cant look at Companies House either...



EDIT: Plus point - The site does have a fair quality fish in cycle guide for setting up your tank. Its a little "quick" but the principle is there.

Ha, thats nuts! I didnt read that as it should be a little more simple than the tropical!

Has anyone read the marine one? What i know about salty's could be written on a beer mat.....

edit: There isnt one, and they sell marine fish...?

they haven't got anything I want. Apart from torpedo barbs and I aint paying £15 a fish!

There's no way of knowing what the quality of the stock is - it could be very good. But personally I won't buy from any shop or supplier that sells or advises the use of unfiltered goldfish bowls.

I am a relatively new fishkeeper who has limited experience but even i know that your tank guides are disgusting.

Please can you inform me that you will actually research what you are informing new fishkeeping as what you currently have worded in your guides is unacceptable.

I hope to hear a quick reply on this manner

I'm not enraged enough to complain. To some people it's still perfectly normal practice because they don't know any different. Did you actually point out which guide you had the problem with and what the specific issues are? Because they might not know what you're talking about otherwise, if they don't know it's wrong.
