Aquarium Pharmaceuticals (API; www.aquariumpharm.com) makes an anti-parasite med with Praziquantel in it. I believe it is called API General Cure Anti-Parasitic Fish Medication (comes in a white/blue box).

Edit:

Nevermind. I just read that they don't carry this med in the UK. It is probably one of the many unavailable fish meds in the UK. Anyway, in the past I've always treated skin/gill flukes with a combination salt dip/bath treatment. (http://ukdiscus.co.uk/ken_thomson_salt.htm...0General%20Dips) Keep them in an isolation tank with 5mg/L of salt and raise the temp to 84F (to speed up the life cycle of the parasite making them easier to treat). Then, everyday dip them in a concentrated solution of saltwater (20mg/L) at the same temp as the tank for up to 30mins; continue for 2-3 days and repeat treatment for up to 2 weeks if necessary. Also, when performing the salt dip go to 10 mins and watch the fish closely. If they seems stressed out (swimming erratically, gasping for air, laboured breathing, etc.) or do not respond to tapping on the side of the bucket (or whatever you are using) then remove them immediately.

thanks for ure post xjake. its a shame that they dont bring meds (and other products) from us to the uk.
