Top 3 most aggressive fish in your tank

I only have one aggressive fish.

Ironically, she's a 1" long female betta.
It's because of her I had to upgrade to a 10 gallon tank and now i'm patiently waiting for more female bettas to become available in town so I can dump them all into their new tank!
Here she is:
cloey.jpg

I call her the snotty little hag.

heh

i would have to say consistantly my most agressive tropical fish is red devil-9
but my ocasionaly agressive fish is jag cichlid-10 can woop the devil when hes grumpy, the red devil rules the tank as long as the jag lets him

((Please note, these fish are not in the same tank together, I'm just rating the agressiveness of species I have))

Goldfish - anywhere from about a 2 to a 10; my goldfish Tangaloor Firefins killed four other goldfish, ones even larger than he is, before I finally convinced my mom that he not only doesn't need any "friends," but needs to be completely isolated. My other two goldfish, however, are pretty mellow. Grizraz only bugs smaller fish, and Bronwin didn't eat for a week after his companion died and has never hurt another fish.
Chinese Algae Eater - 8. He attacks anything I put him in with, even bettas. His only non-agressive trait is that he will run away and hide when he's being outmatched.
Bettas - anywhere from a 5-9. Dickey Barret (m) and Sealink (fm) are super agressive and will attack anything you put in with them. Sealink is especially agressive and will even flare at and bite snails. However, Shyboy, though he will flare, is easily intimidated and will hide if you get past his bluff, and Lug has never flared once in his entire life and spends most of his time swimming around watching his next-tank-over neighbor, Reebum the Chinese Algae Eater.

Golden Chinese Algae eaters in works Tank,

If anyone goes up to the tank they hide (cowards)

But if you leave it a while and watch from a distance they come out mob handed and either chase each other or swim after the others (they should be there really, only a 110Litre tank, need to pursuade boss to get a bigger tank) :dunno:

Red gourami can get a bit punchy from time to time.

No one messes with the Angel though !! :D

Great stuff people! :)

I'm tied up at work at the moment, but still hope to get this list circulated on Fri/Sat.

If you haven't contributed, but would still like to, you have until this Friday to do so. Look forward to your contribution, so play a part and get your votes listed.

With thanks,

Kribs.

Clown loaches score 10!!! OMG i really should put some of those in with my exodons, wolf fish, leporinus and other aggressive fish

Again, a great big thanks to everyone who had contributed, and a thank you to everyone who has checked out this topic.

The basic idea of this topic/listing is provide and guide future purchasing behaviour of fish-keepers. So, the more votes that are casted, the better, and accurate, the final listings would be.

So, its an on-going count. If you wish to play your part in helping potential purchasers, please PM me, and I'd maintain the listing.

(the more observant would notice Yenko's joke - very funny  )

THANK YOU :)

That's a turn-up for the books, eh? Only had one vote for Clowns, so I need more people to get their votes casted. Then getting the average would be easier.

The listing would become more accurate the more votes that are casted. So, get them in people. PM me.
