Wow,

LOVE the Shark Catfish is that Arius jordani?

They are such stunning fish, rarely get to seem them of any size, although I did see one at my LFS few years ago which had been kept in full marine conditions which was about 20 inches looked like a real shark.

What amazing fish, makes me want to set up a brackish tank.

Wow, they all look really great! Good to see the chromide is doing well, his colour is different!

And my goby never comes out. He's always stuffed behind a rock, and if he's swimming about, he hides when I enter the room.

That sharkcat is immense! How old is he?

Can I ask what size thank it is?

Looks huge

Oh and about that full tank shot... :shifty:

Hi All

Thanks for your nice comments. My favourites are my Cat Sharks, but I like all Brackish Fish.
Maximus: The Cat Shark in the picture is 18 month old and is about 12 inch. My Tank is 6 ½ x 2x 2. My Husband is mad and planning on an 8x3x3 (Hopefully this will not materialise)We got three tanks altogether.

Sandfire: Yes it is an Arius Jordani. Nearly every LFS sells them here, but they don’t tell you how big they grow and that they need Brackish Water. That Cat Shark started of in a 55 gal. Couldn’t give him back so we ended up with this big tank. We eventually want to take it up to about 1.018.

Fella: Your Chromide is doing really well. I am glad I gave you first choice of the two gobies. My one is always out. He is very peaceful but stands up to the Monos. By the way how are the Monos?

Discus Angel:
1st picture is my Green Spotted Puffer & Jade Goby
2nd Columbian Cat Shark & Green Chromide
5th Archers & Monos

Taking a full Tank Shoot is really difficult because I have reflection from everywhere. In the Extension where the tank is I got 9 ft long French Doors. This is the best I can do.

This is when I first set up the tank

This is now. There is a lot of tanning as I have got a huge piece of wood in the tank.

Aye same here, hate the damn thing for it.

Youve got an excellent tank there, keep the photos coming!

The only other time is when I see him shoot out when the toadfish grunts at him...

I've seen Sabby's tank in the flesh, and if you think the photos are good, you should see it in real life, it's amazing.

Hi Fella

Thanks for the compliment. My Husband is seriously considering a bigger tank, but I think I have to put my foot down.
Funny about the Goby. Mine is so friendly, he comes out and looks at me when I'm at the computer.
Have you added any more Fish to your tank?

PS. I found out that I have the wrong Archers in my Tank. I have one T Jaculatrix and four T.Microlepis. So I’m looking for someone who would like the T Mircolepis.

One more photo of the Goby.

Thanks

Great tank Sabby! :good: Is that a protien skimmer I see on the side? If so why?
The gobie is awsome! You should raise the salinity, mine is at 1.010-12 depends on the water change.
