Another trip to Toronto, Ontario, Canada for us, we decided to visit the big aquarium there again. We were originally planning on the zoo, but it ended up raining and the transportation method was a little more complicated than we preferred, so we opted for a closer, more indoor activity to enjoy.

And this time I was more thorough with it compared to last years trip

And videos

First one, this is the filtration system. Altogether the entire facility contains 1.5 million gallons of water.

Great shots & gorgeous fish!

Think my favourite are the archers :) Not as fancy as marine species, but how can you not like a fish that spits at you!

My favourites were the cuttlefish and the piranhas. I sat and watched them for a long while. I've seen cuttlefish on documentaries and they're cool and all, but they just really grabbed my attention in person. One of the coolest things I've been able to watch. I think if they were easily available in the hobby, I'd have to get into saltwater real fast haha

And the piranha, I looooove their sparkly scales. They're so beautiful. I'm not big on keeping predatory fish, but I'd keep piranha because they're sparkly lol

I too, love the cuttlefish!! From the 1st pic I was entranced.

Are the tiny jellyfish similar to the blue 1s with fat stubby "arms"? The blues seem to swim upside down to me but I know little of their behavior.

Great pics as always, thanks!

Are you talking about the white and blue upside down jellyfish in my photos? Or the free swimming chunky ones?

Yes, those in the next to last set of pics. Are the colors different species?, Moods? They seem very similar. Actually, I didn't really notice the white 1s at first, so many cool pics :)

I looked through your pics again & didn't remember seeing the large white jelly with short tentacles...Hmm, maybe I have a new "thing" for tentacles, not just whiskery loaches & catfish, lol.

They're different species in each picture. The weird white ones are upside down jellyfish.

The others in the blue water there were the same species I think, just maybe different shades of colour. Forget which they were.

You should be a pro photographer.
Thank you! These were all taken with just my phone. I am hobbyist level photographer at best with the actual field--I do love photography and do it as a hobby. But, professionally, it's a difficult field to get into and I much prefer it as a simple hobby.
