Today I Went To My Favourite Lfs And...

Came home with a lovely little female Apisto viejita and 6 more crystal red shrimps. My male Apisto hasn't stopped showing off to the female yet and she's claimed her space already :)

How much for your Shrimp, always way overpriced where I go?

James.

They cost £11 for 3 at my local MA normally but as I took some of my RC shrimps into them I got 6 Crystal reds for £11. Apparently one of the gobys had eaten a load of their RCS so it was good timing for me to offload some of mine :)

I also got a bargain with a huge Anubia too the other day, another customer was closing down their tank and left some plants at the store.....so one of the guys said if I wanted it I could have it for free.....Kerching!!

Well I was naughty yesterday at the Festival Of Fishkeeping, buying fish frm someone other than Aquajardin...
I got 11 Pangio dariae (Golden Kuhli Loach) and 12 Aphanus mento (Persian Killifish), for the whopping price of.... [drum roll] £20!

There were three gorgeous male Lloydon "x" (nobody was certain of secies, having come home I think they were "whitei"), but sadly they were not for sale and three males are not going to create fry!

I finally brought home another two Synodontis brichardi to make a trio and I'm hoping the two I bought could be a pair, as one was larger and very placid (female?) while the other was more slender plus a little boisterous with others when it was "cuddling" up to the other (male?).

The new two are busy exploring the 540l, but the established one is still lurking under the central bogwood. Given time, I'm hoping a trio will make them more confident to show me they are still alive and well!

Was it £4 for all or for each one, seems like a bargain :good:

£4 for the lot because i got given 1 for free. Which is a great bargin because i asked them to look what they would cost (i didnt tell them they where them) and they should have been £10 each so £50 of cats for £4 seems a great bargain to me.
