Tire Track Eel

I need advice on my tire track eel. I have had "him" for almost 3 years, about 10 inches long. He got into the filter on my tank,( which has happened before) but this time he hasn't eaten in six days. I feed him every other to every two. I need advice please!!

in my experience the potential for struggle with feeding is when you first get them. as this one is 10inch already and youve had it for three years it must just be feeling off.
 
I'd do a water change and maybe test your water is ok and try it with some earthworms or something
