hi i was planning to make my own sump but i came across one cheap and bought it and i made a school boy error i checked the lenth would fit but not the depth 
so i was thinking what if i take the front doors and the front middle pannel off the cabinet of a fluval roma 240 ? it doesnt look like its supporting the tank the middle pannel doesnt go down to the floor like the back one does which the back one is about 40mm thick and the one i want to take off is only about 15mm as anyone tried this before ?
