I'm in the market for another canister filter! I'd like to get a used one again and now I'd prefer a Rena since I already have one of those. Probably the Rena XP2

My 20 gallon sand tank currently has a Penguin 200 on it & it's starting to make noise. I think it's getting too much sand in it......

My Petco doesn't do Special Order, but my PetSamrt does, as lkong as it's a fish on the list.

My petsmart doesn't do special orders but my petco does as long as it's on the list lol. PM'd the fluval 405 was sold, but the eheims are still there. Still think I may buy the 2226 though.

just "aquired" 2 pots of ludwegia. 2 big terracotta pots and 3 big stones for my new scape.

which i have no clue how im going to set it up or what i want out of it.

also got 10 glowlight tetras to add to the brood.

Still too small for the camera though... but he has an interesting tiger stripe on his middle...

Hey Lovelies!

Getting a nitrite reading just below .25 ppm in my Angel tank. What the hell, right? I dunno. It's technically not in the danger zone, but there shouldn't be a reading at all. hmmmmm.


The white spot is gone in my other tank and 4 days of extra treatment lost me 3 cories Changing their water today and adding carbon. I will never again have tetras shipped.

False alarm folks. I used the same syringe to pull out the testing water and the first tank I tested is in a nitrite spike! I usually don't use the same one in case of cross contamination but the cycling tank obviously has no fish lol

I just found 4 baby khulis in my filter when I did the big water change. They were alive though!!! I raised my filter inlet away from the sand a little.

I set 3 of the lyretail fry free into the main tank... and they're wrecking havoc already... Chasing my older fry. LOL. Fed them some egg yolk.
I left Chrome in the net. I want to see how these other ones get along with the adults. I have another fry that has grown in the tank there, also a lyretail.

i fell asleep sitting up at my laptop i was so tired! im still playing with my hardscape too will post a pic once its lookinga bit decent. ive only got 3 plants at the moment aswell which is making my tank look even worse


whats thet tall plant on the far left of your sig picture ruskull? the tallest plant?
