I just returned from reading through that Gar thread, let me just say they're all lucky it's locked or I'd have gone off on them and been perma banned for life from this site!
We can't blame them though, their laws castrated them long ago. They don't know what they're missing which in my most humble opinion is a very basic human right to defend one's family and one's self. "When Seconds Count, The Police Are Only Minutes Away"
...........and Bowhunting is much harder and gives "the hunted" a better chance evening the odds a bit so to speak. I don't hunt but I have no problem with hunters as long as they eat what they kill or donate it to someone who will. We as humans are hunter gatherers after all.

Anyhoo, guppy time was well and truly spoiled by my daughter. Can I have nutella on toast? What about my hot milk? I'm in the other room now with no tanks and hubby watching cr@# on the telly.

{see what I did there?} And he has been to "hundreds" of Rodeos, he said.I didn't rinse my 36 gallon tank's Stoney River brand black aquarium sand to well and it was still pretty clear after 24 hours. I rinsed the Quickrete brand playsand in my 20 gallon tank for hours & it still took better than 48 hours to fully clear. So in other words, it varies.

yeah ive literally just been in to turn off the lights and you can finally see the back of the tank looool

My lyretail swordie's fry, Chrome, is starting to show interesting color patterns.
While his front half is white, he has a tiger stripe in the middle, then white and then black to the tail, but also has transparent edges on the tail's up and bottom sides. I hope he makes it to the older fry's size so I can add him to the main tank.
I thought I lost Sushi but he was hiding under the fern's roots.

ive only got the 180 ruskull
they had the bettas scattered everywhere. even 1 in a cichlid tank... under "assorted american cichlids" looool
I hear ya, hopefully someone saves the poor guy. I hate going to the pet store and seeing all the Bettas in tiny little cups where they barely have room to move at all. I'm sure they don't change the water for them either.............even the specialty fish shops have these travesty tanks, I don't get it.
yeah. joke is it was maidenhead aquatics supposedly one of the most prestigious fish places in england. this store must have been different loool.
but if the good fish keepers were to save every poor kept fish. our houses would literally be full to the brim of tanks and fish.
