Taking my kids to see fireworks in 3 hours!! woohoo! Hubby is skipping out of work long enough to watch them with us

We scored free tickets to a Rodeo tomorrow I've never been to one but it sounds fun!

We had to leave 4 mins before the firework finale. This is what happens with young kids. Two poopy diapers in the back of the car, one screaming 3 year old who was terrified of the booms, and a baby who bear crawled away so fast I had to jog to catch him.


Good news is that they are both in bed after only 3 mins of tucking in! Yeah baby! I'm going to go read a book. I'm never kid free this early

Well the alligator gar thread was closed, thank goodness. It got stupid fast.


Morning Lovelies! I have all my water changing today. My new filter has failed my poor betta and I'm seeing some nitrites I am water changing like crazy but the ammonia in my tap doesn't help the problem any. Good thing I have lots of extra prime. I'm adding some every 6 hours since you can overdose up to 5 times.{along with water changes} Hope that helps till the spike is over.

nitrite spikes are the pits! I had one recently and still not sure on the cause

It was my fault, I added the media to the new filter, popped it on the tank and didn't test it till the next day. I just assumed it would be fine.

Hey lovelies!

Cedar point was fun! It was a scorcher though. It got up to I think it was 103* so it was pretty hot, still went on lots of stuff though. Then had to leave before the fireworks because it started raining around 7ish so we went to applebees for dinner and watched some othercounties fireworks. It was good

I'm from Maryland, technically classified as a southern state because it's below the Mason-Dixon Line...I have an airsoft handgun, my dad was in the Air Force, I plan on joining the Air Force as well....
