Do a large water change prior to adding carbon. That will dilute the meds so the carbon doesnt take as long to remove it

Yeah I am treating till Friday and then clearing the water with carbon on Saturday. I am worried I'll lose more cories though. Not looking good.

I never had ich in my tank, but every time i read about it on the internet, it scares me.

Hey Lovelies. All the ich spots are gone of the tetras, yay!

I found a cory dead though. 3 others look sluggish. Whats going on. I thought rid ich was gentle.

All scaleless fish hate ich meds as well as salt treatment, some Tetras too. That's why I used that disgusting Kordon Rid Fungus instead, for these guy's sake. It takes longer to kill off the ich and your water will smell terrible during the treatment, but it was worth it in the end.

Going to take a while before the fern loses its old leaves though. Been waiting for 2 months already and I'm still stuck with the old black leaf that it came with. And my apple snail, Lorenzo, just can't help it, he has to munch on new leaves... grr X( And I feed them a ton of flakes and boiled carrots! He's one lunatic snail... but I love him.

I might get some anubias and plant it somewhere on the other side of the tank where I have nothing, but got to get rid of fry cage once again. That will happen when Eris' fry grow to at least Ninja's size. With these dried daphnia, they seem to be growing pretty fast.

I do over 50% changes anyway cause I fill'er back up with a hose. I was going to do a HUGEEE one. THe cories will get better faster if I get the meds out that way.

Got mini Bloodworms, Baby Brineshrimp, and Freshwater Frenzy which has everything you can imagine (daphnia, bloodworm, brine shrimp, mysis, watercress)
