luzz me some tasty cakes..

only had one kind I dint like.. It was a butterscotch cake.. disgusting..

I has a steak in the fridge that weighs well over a pound.. probably over 1.5 pounds.. looks like I'll eat that tomorrow..

you should see that fat on this steak.. it's beautiful..

Manofish, good luck on your trip.

If you're looking for plants for your 29 gallon I'd keep in mind that the 29 gallon is a very tall tank so you want to fill the upper area with some plant life so the fish will be more likely to hang out there because they'll feel safer. Especially true if you want schooling fish like your Rasboras. A good cheap plant to fill the upper area pretty quickly would be Wisteria. It's also very cheap. I plan to slowly get rid of my Wisteria as the Bacopa fills in & grows taller. Argentine Swords grow pretty well in good light too.

Would you sell me the wisteria? I've been looking for some of that and some bacopa for the top right, but couldn't find much anywhere.

And it's only about 20" tall but it's taller than it is wide, so I guess it's pretty tall.

I'll let you have my Bacopa monneri as soon as I find a replacement plant. If the Egeria {anacharis} that I bought wasn't crap, I would get rid of the Monneri now.

If I decide to keep the aponogeton, I will have a Cyperus helferi plant to spare. They are really nice, if I don't think the aponogeton will work, you can have that too :good:

K, I won't be able to have it shipped for about 2 weeks anyways. Whatever you can spare I'll gladly buy from you :)

May be bit longer though actually. Depends when my lights come in. Do you quarantine plants?

Roast chicken, stuffing, roast spuds, corn on cob and mashed carrot. No desert as I had a Snickers bar with a cuppa earlier. That normally wouldn't stop me but I've a wedding on Friday and I want my dress to fit!
Whilst sipping my vino, my clown plec entertained me. I haven't seen much movement until tonight. He/she is lovin' that wood!
Anyhoo, night Lovelies! :*

Nah, I'd just give you some. The stuff grows like weeds and it only costs like $2.99 for a big bunch at Petsmart. The only problem with the stuff is that it grows so fast that eventually the top is the only part that has leaves because it's the only part getting any light. I put a nice cutoff piece in that 20 gallon sand tank before I changed the light & the bottom of it wilted pretty bad. Let's see how it does now that I increased the lighting 3X with a better spectrum to boot.

Like I said, I'll give you some but I can't guarantee it'll make it to you intact. The problem is it would have to be shipped with some water & water is heavy for shipping purposes.

20 inches high is a tall tank in my humble opinion, my 36 is 21 inches and even the 20 gallons are like 16 inches tall. Anubias plants grow great but they don't have height to them unless you tie them to a tall piece of driftwood. :hey:

Another good point:

Most of my plants are actually mounted in or on pieces of driftwood which makes them taller & makes cleaning around them much easier. When I do a big cleaning I just remove all the plants with their wood, clean the gravel, run the plants under some warm tap water, and put them back in the tank. Another added bonus is that you can rearrange the plants without disturbing the substrate much.

That's mighty kind of you! :)

I may be wrong but I think you only need a small amount of water to be with the plant.

Shippin' frum Nort Kackalacky to Georgia can't cost much or take too long...........an dese plants r very hurdy wit gud lights.

(Like the way I fit in some Hambone speak?)

You could prolly just use ground shipping with the smallest box for that much plant. I'd assume maybe $2-3. Would also probably make it in a day too since we're so close.

Let's revisit the idea when you get your light setup. My company has UPS stop in sometimes as often as daily. Maybe I could give it to them to ship? I'll ask the guy if I see him tomorrow. I don't want to go the the UPS store & all that jazz if I can avoid it.
