Salting slugs and snails doesn't actually kill, only dehydrates them and gives them the appearance of death. Hours later, they will rehydrate and slither away happy.


Douse it in cheap beer, the alchohol and yeast is a double whammy, kills them dead.

Dude, now my snail's drunk and rolling like an idiot at the top of the java fern, occasionally giving out hiccups.




















Just kidding... but it would probably happen.

I just changed the water of the handicapped fry bunch... But their time's running out.
I've removed the eggs with eyes, as they clearly died, they grew fuzz on them.
The sad moment when I realize: if these were humans, they'd be fixed right up by doctors.

Happy Saturday morning.............complete with hangover.
Lots to do today, yard work, clean up the garage, water changes & upgrading tank filters. Zach need Football cleats & new sneakers for school.

Strangely enough I'm looking forward to it.

I'll never understand the point of getting drunk. Then again, I'll never understand the point of what people call fun, since my idea of fun is different, or always a notch below fun.

Got no planned work for today, unless my boss suddenly decides that there's some work to be done. Oh, and finally agreed with my boss on a symbol for our company logo. But still, I don't think it has much to do with technology since I intended it to be more about science when I sketched it, not to mention it wasn't meant for this and is not in its final form. But oh well, rule of cool.
The sad execution of the deformed fry is also nearing, I am so not looking forward to it... But I also don't like seeing them starving to death.

And then there's blank... blank, blank, blanketty blank.

Sorry about the fry too, it's sad but it might be best if they aren't showing signs of improving. At least you salvaged a couple of them right? I'd probably wait another day or two just to make sure.

Not in the mood for rearranging my room. I cleaned it before these certain annoying days so that I can just sit in bed mostly.

Two of them already died of starvation. Poor things.

Hey Lovelies!

Just got back from the fish store with 2 new Guppies!!! Guppytime will be even more special. Zach & I picked out a red one with a silver/white chest like a tuxedo, and named him "Big Red." How original. We also got a dark blue one with light blue fins & a red and white square on his tail. Looks a bit like an American flag so we named him "Patriot." He's the smallest one in the tank now.
