The Black Parade

Ok, if your coming in here just to flame My Chemical Romance, calling them emo, leave. But if you didn't know, they're newest album, "The Black Parade" came out on Oct. 23rd Internationally. I got it the day after the international release. Now, this album got a 4/5 by Rolling Stones. I'd have to agree, it is way better than Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge and You Brought Me Your Bullets, I Brought You My Love. They do sound slightly different though. You can see a huge Queen influence in it, but with darker twists, and even some jazz and polka like stuff! But in the end, it's quite a good album.

my firend got the album the other day, and i've listened to a couple of songs on there, and they sound awesome, not sure what they were, I think "welcome to the black parade" was one of them.

This is actually one of the pressies due to hit the missus' stocking this year. She is a nut when it comes to their music so she is looking forward to getting her grubby little mitts on it

Personally I don't mind their music and think they have alot of potential compared to the million and one clones out there these days so it will be interested to see what they do with that potential. From what I have heard of the new album though, they seem to be heading in a better direction than the aforementioned wannabes.

I haven't heard the entire thing, but i've heard welcome to the black parade, and have seen the new video. I must say, their video has been one of the BEST in a LONG time! Black parade is also on every single cd I burn now

but i agree; what i've heard on the radio sounds good. if i still bought music, then i might check this album out further. as it is, i'm still working on listening to stuff i "acquired" a year ago

I first heard of MCR when I heard I'm not Ok on MTV, Likes them since then.

Got all the albums and this is the best so far.

Lead Singer reminds me of Smashing Pumpkins for some reason.

You know, you can always just download the music video for welcome to the black parade on google video, that's how I have all my videos for my iPod, except one I actually downloaded off iTunes.........

I'm really not into categorizing their music.. whether it's emo or not.. I like some of it.
