I'm hoping that my luck will rub off on them

I once had an acumulator bet on 8 results and ManU was the last one and was a complete banker which they lost £2,300 down the pan.

So in my head if I chose a couple of their players, hopefully they will carry on trying to spite me, in which case they'll suffer in the prem, but if they do well, they'll help me win the fantasy league

Anyway, I am a football fan and can recognise a good player even if he has made a dubious choice of employer. Rafa is the same, trying to rescue poor Heinze from them

You don't seem to be posting the table this year like you were last year, any reason for that Timmy?

I don't see the point of closing the league , in the unlikely event that anyone can make up the 3 weeks of results they've missed already then good luck to them besides it gives you at least some chance of not finishing bottom Granted it was a bit irritating when someone joined last year (cant remember who) and was straight in at #1, but that just spurred me on to overtake him
