Is this filter (honestly) easy to set up? For someone who has no experience of external filters?

I have one for my new tank that will be set up on Thursday and I'm just a bit worried that what with all the hassle of moving my fish over as safely as possible, I'll find setting it up a real stress. Is it easy? Ive briefly read the instructions and they seem straight forward but you never really know until you're actually doing it do you.

Yes they are as easy to fit as it says. I sold mine a few months ago to try a new brand, and wish i'd kept the tetratec. Easy, simple, reliable, and effective. I miss mine. You'll love yours i assure you!

This filter is easy to set up, just follow the instructions and you will be fine.

One Tip I will give you is to use a cup of hot water to soften the ends of the pipes up before attaching them to the screw tight fittings, just hold the end of the pipe in the cup of hot water for 30 seconds or so and they will be a lot easier to push on to the fittings
