Test Kits?

Hey people,
Im debating whether to get an API testmaster kit but at £20 im not to keen. Is there any other good test kits maybe half the price?

Not really. However if you want to try and buy the liquid kits seperately you need: Ammonia, Nitrite, Nitrate and Broad range pH.
The API kit obviously covers this perfectly, but there are alternative kits available.

So long as it's liquid based then it should do the job well. Just avoid tablet/strip based kits and you'll be fine.

There are some things you really do not want to scrimp on.

The cheapest place for API test kits I can find is Ebay and a quick check found one going for £15 all I would say is check al the write up on anything you buy on ebay.

Be honest I have never seen anything cheaper that is value for money.
