Test Kits

i have just replaced my api master
test kit got it on a well known
auction site and payed £7.50+pp
what is the most and least you
have paid for your test kits

£50 for my "Nutrafin Master" which has an awful nitrate test (often comes up bright purple, nothing like colourific chart) and a nitrite test that comes up colourless when 0... But the booklet tells you nothing of this, the lowest reading is pale lilac, 0.1!

that's why i use API been using
there stuff for years i used
to have one of them the same
as you i think i used it twice
then got shot and went back to
API

i recently got a ammonia api test kit of that well known site (ran out of it in my master test kit) for like £3 but cant remember how much my master test kit was got it a couple of years ago when i had goldfish

Wanting to get a decent test kit instead of using those dip strips.

Looking on ebay and will look in stores. I think it will be cheaper in the long run as the test kit will last longer.
