There are products that absorb nitrate but IMO these should not be used to replace water changes,in heavily stocked tanks they can be added to keep water changes down to just once a week but like i say must not be used instead.

Hi

As CFC has said Nitrate removers do not replace water changes. There are alot of other chemicals/compounds that need to be removed from our fish tanks, such as disolved organic compounds, fish poo etc. These can only be removed with water changes.

Water changes save fishs lives.
