Terracotta pots in pond

So I always love this man's designs and since I'm interested in building one exactly like this, but bigger and lined.. I took some ideas.

I would have never thought of adding terracotta pots in the pond!

But since I have limited experience, I'm wondering if I'm being naive in my excitement and wanted some feedback from more experienced aqua experts about these ideas.

Please tell me what you think of building a pond with these tips?

i think if you're very dedicated it is possible.
it looks like he went through a lot of work, and that might take a long time to make
i think most terracotta pots are safe...

Clay pots are fine for aquariums and ponds as long as they haven't been contaminated with anything beforehand.
