Hi guys for those who you a temperature controller, what do you set your variance to ?

For example mine is set to 26.3 degrees C and it will turn on the heater when it hits 26 degrees C and turns of when it reaches the set 26.3  therefore variance of 0.3 degrees C.

Thanks for the help in advance =)

Sounds quite hot but what fish have you got? My tank is 22 as I read that the fish I keep live longer slightly cooler.

Just edited to say, actually what happens is, in the summer, the room temperature over takes the heater and I can't keep it below 25, so there's a natural seasonal high. It doesn't seem to harm the fish.

keeping bettas divided tank, heard they like it / more active around that temperature, getting colder here so i might slightly reduce the temp so my heater doesnt have to turn on as often, what do you guys do on 40 degrees Celsius summer day? especially when on is at work and doesn't leave the air con on.
