Tell me something funny

There are some people who think Miguel de Cervantes great novel is a story about a Donkey named Hoetay.
That took me a second. I was actually talking with my daughter about this the other day: I've never read Don Quixote and I need to remedy that. As soon as I finish the Three Musketeers, which is also a new one for me.

I spent the summer of 1966 in Bogota Colombia enrolled in a program for English speakers to learn Spanish. I had taken a couple of course in SPanish in high school. When I was done I was close to being fluent in Spamish. That fal I started College and they put me into a Spanish Literature class. We had to read Don Quixote in old Spanish. This was the equivalent to a Spanish speaker who had learned English taking their first English class reading Shakespeare. I dropped out. The windmills beat me......

Sigh, don't know if this is funny or just life... ;)

You know you are getting old when you get up from your couch and go to another room and can't remember why you went there...
Every. Stinkin'. Day.
