So there i am with 5 tanks.....Happy
Then i think it's overkill and expensive and say 1 will do....Happy
Then it's i want to have them and so it is upped to 2 tanks....Happy

Then 4....
Then 5....

Then too expensive.....Back to 1...Happy

Then i see.....

Anyone else get this headache year after year :shout:

HELP ME!

stick with 2 tanks that are full time running and have a spare one for hospital and quarateening. 2 decent sized tanks is enough.

i was running 6 at one time now down to 2 and happy with them 300l and a 180L all running on decent equipment (rather that 4-5 tank running on cheaper equipment)

more than enuff to deal with tbh

got a 90L clearseal tank down the shed if i need it in a emergence a spare filter and heater too just incase.

I can't afford to go that way Tiger Tiger. The new one each year after only getting 1/3 of its value the year before becomes self defeating. I just keep mine and when I get the urge to expand, they are already there. Right now it is 16 but 3 don't have any fish in them.

i was only getting 1 tank

but now have 180 , 130 , 54 , 55 and 30(hosp/quarentine/spawing

i keep saying i'll get rid of one but never do
i think its best to start off BIG as you can then hopefully you will only want 2

i'm going to replce my 180 with a deeper aquaone that will sit oin the same spot ---- I HAVE NO SPACE LEFT

why don't you breed fish and use the money to pay for the hobby. Then you can have 5 tanks and not cost too much.
Breed a couple of species of rainbowfish and sell the offspring. It's easy to do and will start bringing in money pretty quickly. Melanotaenia praecox, M. lacustris, M. herbertaxelrodi & Glossolepis incisus will all breed readily and you can sell heaps of them.
