Tank Swap 100% Water Change Can I Do It?

So i am waiting for my tetra complete substrate to arrive in the post but after that i can get my 150l tank up and running i have a 80l tank runing which has a fluval 3 plus and a eheim aquaball 2212 fully matured, If i put those filters in my new tank but fill it up with fresh water and put my fish in when its the right temp wouild it harm the bacteria in my filters and most importantly will it harm my fish? i would also be using the same plants and sand from that tank so its esentally a 100% water change

Done it many times, never had any problems with it, obviously if your tap water ph is much different from your tank water ph, then you will need to bag the fish and acclimatise as required. Make sure you declorinated the water BEFORE putting the filters into the tank (something I forgot this week as I did a complete tank clean and 100% change

) but other than that, you should be fine, unless your dealing with highly sensitive species, but even then, acclimatise in bags and I dont see a problem.

Great stuff, The PH in my tap water is the same as the water in my tank and yes i will be using declorinator, The fish i have are not that sensitive anyway, thanks for help highly appericated.
