The tank has no longer got anything living in it but have left the water in it and pump running as this has matured for a year.

Reason for sell is new larger tank.

Are you adding ammonia to simulate fish in the tank otherwise the filter will not be mature at collection as the bacteria will die off?

I would chuck a dead prawn in the bottom of the tank and allow it to rot this will provide a steady ammonia release to keep bacteria a live

Fish have only just been removed today. And yes i also have a bottle of Ammonia to use. Just need a buyer now
